What are U up to today?

I'm always thinking about ways that we can connect, stay in touch, and learn more about each other without having to commit to phone time. There are many of you out there who I long to learn more about, I'm just not a big phone talker. I feel awkward and anxious which leads to the nervous babbling and interrupting. Two things I'm REALLY working on getting rid of in my life. SO ... I came up with this idea to do What are U up to today? Wednesdays starting today.

The idea is to take a picture of your lap, your sewing table, your workbench, your journal, your placemat, your coffee table, your kitchen counter, whatever ... somewhere where you are working on something today. Here's mine:

 and then either post a quote or a very short & sweet explanation of what you have going on in the photo.

I'm getting ready to film the last part of my journaling video to post over on 365 days of 40 later today :)

All we have to do to keep up with each other is go on a little blog trip Wednesdays [or Thursdays if you want to make sure all the posts are up], and my hope is it will generate some traffic to our blogs as a bonus. I would REALLY love for you all to play along!
